FATBURGER to feature National Hamburger Eating Championship
FATBURGER and ALL PRO Eating Promotions of Long Island New York are proud to announce "The FATBURGER National Hamburger Eating Championship" to be held 12:00 Noon on September 26th, 2009 at the FATBURGER restaurant located at 5288 Sunrise Highway in in Massapequa Park New York. 11758 (516-541-0055). Some of America's top Food Warriors will compete for the prestigious title of "America's #1 FATBURGER fanatic" and $1,500 dollars in prize money. Several well-credentialed Food Warriors are expected to make a bid for the first ever FATBURGER National Hamburger Eating Championship. Leading the charge will be elite Food Warrior and Sterling Virginia native Ian "the Invader" Hickman who holds National & World Eating titles in Zucchini, Vanilla Custard, Pulled Pork Sandwiches & Perogies. In addition, Hickman is the former World Record Holder in Chili where he downed an amazing 10.2 lbs of Chili in only five minutes in Canton Ohio in February, 2008. Also, Hickman has consumed a 7lb steak in under an hour and is a member of Team-USA who competed against the mighty Japanese in Tokyo Japan in 2007. Also expected, from Columbus Ohio is multi-title holder is Mark Lyle "The Human Vacuum" whose eating resume includes major National & World Eating Titles in such foods as Meatballs, Reubens and County Fair Foods. In addition "The Human Vacuum" can boast two National Chicken Wing Eating titles and is recognized in the competitive eating community as an Elite Food Warrior. The road to FATBURGER glory, however, will not be an easy one several local & regional Eating Champions will be attempt to frustrate the efforts of these two champions and will be seeking to prove that they deserve the title of America's #1 FATURGER fanatic. Emceeing the event will be ALL PRO Chairman Arnie "Chowhound" Chapman along with the velvet voice of competitive eating Mike "Sisco-Kid". In addition to the National Eating Championship there will be a Kids Bun Stacking Contest and FATBURGER Trivia..
