AICE/ALL PRO EATING

ALL PRO EATING PROMOTIONS was founded by competitive eating legend & personality Dave "Coondog" O'Karma & his partner Arnie "Chowhound" Chapman in the summer of 2004.  O'Karma's competitive eating career began in the mid 1970's  where as Chapman's competitive eating roots can be traced back to 1991. Many of the ideas, principles  and creativity that we see in today's competitive eating were the brainchild of these two visionaries.  ALL PRO EATING seeks to partner with sponsors and other stakeholders in order to demonstrate the excitement, fun, cost effectiveness & viability of a sanctioned championship eating contest. ALL PRO EATING PROMOTIONS is the flagship company for the Association of Competitive Eaters which is the league of eaters that have given their talents, hunger and abilities to this endeavor.

With the rising popularity of Competitive Eating over the last five years there has been an outcry for the use of Picnic Style Rules.  The Picnic Style approach is the philosophy, guide-lines and principles that have shaped our events and our approach to competitive eating in general. We have heard from many sponsors who have stated unequivocally that they want to have their food product showcased in a positive and dignified manner where "picnic profaities" such as "food mutilation" dunking and deconstructing will not occur.  Also, sponsors have also asked that  contest standards require that eaters consume the food item in accordance to it's history, tradition and culture. Lastly, we call ourselves "Food Warriors" because our mission is to restore dignity, pride & humor to mankinds most enduring sport.
